1. President’s Opening Remarks
a) Welcome everyone and asked Adam to give us a little briefing on himself. He has recently transferred to our unit from Pursuit to Mons Unit, 3 CAV Alberta. Woody Thanked Kathy, Trevor and Unit members for keeping the Unit running while he has been busy with family and work priorities. Unit support is greatly appreciated.

2. President’s Discussion Issues
a) Business arising
i) Honourary Membership for Jim Wilson (Sherrif) – UPDATE – The process for Honourary membership will be discussed at the 1 CAV Gathering – this nomination is sitting with 1 CAV HQ awaiting direction on what are the qualifications for an honourary membership.
ii) Review of last month’s events/rides:
July
- July 13- Fri - Port Dover, ON - did anyone go this year?
- July 28th- Sat -08:30 hrs Leave the Streets Behind Ride, Awesome ride attended by Big Al, Kathy and Trevor – only got a little wet between Finch and Chesterville but dried out riding from Chesterville to Kempville. There were only about 25 riders with a few passengers. A little disappointing for such a great cause. Started at the Cornwall Legion with stops at the following Legions: Lancaster, Alexander, Chesterville, Kempville, Iroquois, and ended at the Morrisburg Legion. Every Legion made a donation to the Leave the Streets Behind Fund. Funds raise between these funds, rider/passenger registration and the 50/50 just over $16,000 was raise. Well done Sicily.
