b)Business Arising

  1. Executive positions: Gepetto reminded the membership of his request during the last meeting that he is looking for volunteers to assume certain posts in the unit executive. To help him out, he asked that members step forward to ease the burden from others. He is looking for a Sergeant at Arms and a Road Captain. There may be additional duties that will be identified at a later date, such as Unit Liaison. If you are interested in helping out please contact him at ac.cg.secrof|ellepoir.ecurb#ac.cg.secrof|ellepoir.ecurb
  2. Gepetto raised the idea of possibly looking at having the unit meetings at a different venue during the riding season to maximize the opportunity to ride. Smaller rides to coffee shops, ice cream stores, etc would allow for fun rides and still have the opportunity to discuss unit business in a relaxed atmosphere.
  3. Unit Liaison: Gepetto suggested that we continue to outreach to our sister units of Corée and Cambrai with a view to further the CAV message through joint rides and activities. Further discussion on this in the following months will likely see the creation of a Unit Liaison position.
  4. MRFD: All interested members who would like to block for the MRFD are to send completed forms to Gepetto at ac.cg.secrof|ellepoir.ecurb#ac.cg.secrof|ellepoir.ecurb.
  5. Gepetto asked the membership to raise any questions, concerns or complaints to him (ac.cg.secrof|ellepoir.ecurb#ac.cg.secrof|ellepoir.ecurb) or the other members of the executive.
