Canadian Army Veterans Motorcycle Unit Paardeberg

In 2005, Trapper Cane, founder of "The CAV" approached Bruce Riopelle (Gepetto) and asked him to form a Canadian Army Veterans unit in Ottawa. Gepetto actively searched out veterans he had served with in the Ottawa area to form a Unit. Paardeberg Charter Members were: Bruce (Gepetto) Riopelle; Ernie (Budha) Hall; Wayne Currie; Dave (Howitzer) Ryan; Jim (Sherriff) Wlison and Jeff Woodruff.

Current members are veterans of the Canadian Forces, serving military personnel, their spouses and civilian supporters who live in the Ottawa region. Unit members share a common interest in the military and in motorcycles.

This website is intended to keep members and the public up-to-date on Unit activities and provide links to The CAV national, formation and other unit sites.
